the faithful call-sounder

has but one endeavor

warning the people

the only offender

is one who hears "fire"

and does not accept it

the unrepentant

and if the watchman

says, "it's coming!"

then even if

no one flinch

he himself

would go pardoned

but the warning-ignorer

will be the poorer
