Whom the Spirit of God has left

O Saul, O Saul

I have sung, I have sung for thee

My lord, My lord

Whom the prophets weep but leave

The Spirit of God has left thee

And the man of God, indeed

O Saul, O Saul, 

I have been your armor man

O Saul, O Saul

I have sung now and then

But here before this giant man

I must put these off

My stones and sling make me the king

Though I am your armor man
