Not there but here

Life's biggest problem is not out there 

but is in me

It is here

It's not the worries I could do without

Not my oppressors

But here: my doubt

And more than changing all my life

Lord, heal me deeper

Save me inside

Not tangible woes or things to buy

But the grief it causes

This stain inside

Truly, Jesus

Honest, Lord

If you come to me

I can afford

The greatest sorrow

The gravest blow

If you come with me

I'm good, I'll go

If life increases or stays the same

I'll cling to Jesus

Safe in his name

Not there but here

I'll safely stay
