Our enemy in waterless places

Is just as happy as we are sad

Just as lonely as we are glad

Just as restless as we're at rest

Our adversary is just as hopeful

As we are hopeless

Just as angry as we are at peace

Just as restful as we are now

He's just as panicked, so he frowns

You and I must above all else

Find rest for our souls in God

You and I must do our best

To find in Him our happy place
