The older the better

The older the better

Age, time

The longer the investment 

The more that comes of it

Marriage, friends 

Joy, Strength 

The longer you’ve had it

The greater you love it

The Bible, the book

The LORD, Jesus 

The Ancient of Days

How tested His ways!

“Not my first rodeo!”

We only Him echo

Whose experience knocks all of ours

Out of the park

Still when God urges us 

Pleads with us 

Toward the ancient paths

We deny Him, defy Him 

And at Him laugh

Choose you this day whom you will serve 

As for me and my house..

The older the better!!

“This is what the LORD says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’” Jer 6:16, NLT
