Lament 

Grieve

The things you leave

Fail

Wail

Over all it entails 

Just as much as joy takes the stage

So your grief must too show its face

Just like happiness gets our applause 

So sadness doesn’t move in without cause

Rejection isn’t ours to reject 

It matters

Give it time to sink in

And when you are so mad that you shout

Let’s give a round of applause for our doubt

It gives God and us something to talk about

Lest you rip failure out of your book

Or someone else’s,

Friend, take a look!

Jesus died for ones just like me

Don’t take away from the grand story!!
