You like me but I’m not central
"You like me but I'm not central"
by Joel Howard
I walked to Father's door today, surprised at what I saw; He was busy loving other people, things and other stuff; "Father, do you love me? Are You proud of what I do?" I asked Him as I looked down at my feet, ashamed to move. But instead of flinging all His work aside and loving me, He was motioning to join Him and to take with Him a seat, Father showed me all the things involving Him this day - The people, the "things" and the "stuff", as I did say; and He said to me what I once feared but now I gladly embrace and hallow; "Child, I love You dearly, but please know that you're not central"
