Is God only in the doing?

I long to slow down - I long to unwind! 

How long til I lay bare this cold heart of mine?!

If I confess my sins, If I come clean

Will there be a Lover there who will know what I mean? 

Is God only in the doing? Or is He also in the slow?

In times when answers are far, does He my heart hold?

Can I ask Him for rest when I know no money

To purchase a place to lay down? 

I am naked, I'm poor, I don't have the answers

But if God provided for me rest, He will find me there

If God would gather me in His love

I would be there, I would be there
