I'm turning a new page

Jesus told me as I sat down last night

and with transition to something new

there is a waiting time

No need to fill in the space or hurry the gap

Its time to sit and relax

for Jesus brought me here and He has made it clear

that with God at my side, none can steal my life!

This new page requires my silence

requires a putting off of the old, this story untold

Anticipation is mine and a release of my insides

as I taste and see God is good, yes good to me
