I am standing up

To the Goliath of this age I stand here and say

To the one who would rage, I am not afraid,

"I come at you in the name of God

who has defeated all your cousins and their little ones

when I was in the shepherd fields tending little ones and I say,

go away, come back another day

Jesus the Messiah is our glorious King

and He is coming back to save us shortly

You will face Him there yourself and so with courage I say,

Flee, Satan, until your appointed day

the LORD laughs at the devil's rage!"

And I swing my sling for the King of kings

and I dance in a manner so he despises me

and with a mighty throw Goliath stumbles down

and the armies of the LORD come and gather around to see it
