Lower my eyes 

think not of the things you can give to us

but what is in these hands already

I look to the past 

I look back at where we started

and ahead with faith for what follows

I raise up a laugh 

for the joy in my children's smiles

and the mercy that's ours the whole while

And I thank you for bringing us this far!

I stand up tall 

take a break from the striving and serving

and press in through adoring and worshipping

I stretch out my arms 

as a sign of the breadth of your reign

and as a sign of the glory that comes in your name

And I thank you for bringing us this far!

I lay down 

with a smile on my face yes a smile in this place

saturated in grace O God

And I thank you for bringing us this far!
