Most of others want to be

in charge of their own destiny

Afraid of outcomes and of hurt

Afraid of lessons they might learn

The world says, "break the chains around us!"

I say, "let heaven be what bound us"

Independence from our shame

but slavery to You in Jesus name

Doing only what You do

Moving only when You move

The world says, "I don't care what your plan is,"

I say to You, "permission granted!"
