I remember one day

Never would forget that day

In youth group

Playing paintball

Together

It was as if something new 

came out of me that

had never come out before

We were playing the paintball

game where you have to kill the

"president" the person the other

team was trying to protect and hide

I remember the flame 

that came alive in me that day

As I rallied my team

Bravery came out of me that day

As I rallied my team

Running came out of me that day

As I rallied my team

I knew it was a moment to remember

I forget if we won or lost

But it was a moment to remember

I counted the cost

I gave it all I had

For myself and for my team

I went after the enemy

No matter what it did to me

I remember the flame

I remember it well

I remember it today

Because it speaks of who I am

I'm a rallying team-member

Who goes for the gold!
