Who am I?

Who knows me?

I am limited

But known by the Limitless One

I am longing for care

And am cared for by the Caring One

I need love

And am loved by Love himself

I long to be seen

And am know by the All Seeing One

I long for rest

And am known by the one who calls me to rest

I long to be held

And am held by the one who is near

I long to be forgiven

And am forgiven by the one who keeps no record of wrongs

I long to be saved

And am saved by the one who gave his only Son for me

I am limited

And am known by the Limitless One

I cannot

But am known by the One who can

I know not much

But am known by the One who knows it all

I see very little

But am known by the One who sees it all

I long to be known

And am fully known by the One who formed my heart

I long to be protected

And am fully protected by the One who never sleeps

I long to be defended

And am defended by the One who is able

I long to be noticed

And am known by the One who will never forget me

I long to be shown mercy

And am known by the One who is merciful

I long to be pitied

And am known by the Compassionate One

I long to fit in

And am known by the one who bought me with a price

I long to rest

And am known by the one who gives me sleep

I long to depend

And I am known by the one who carries my burdens

I long to be quiet

And am known by the one who quiets me with his love
