When the world says maybe

All around instead of a yes

The world says maybe

Calls life a mess

Not sure if God reigns

Not sure if He's left

Never to come back

Not sure of a yes

Instead of Him reigning

It seems we're bereft

Left fending all lonesome

Left He - yes left

Abandoned

Abused

Mishandled

Misused

Forgotten

Forlorn

Endangered

Unglued

Dismissed

Disapproved

Long-gone

Longing

Left wanting

Left to die

Left needy

None beside

When the world sees trouble

Victory's yours

"I'll believe when I see"

vs. "My faith is Yours"

God I feel no one sees

Instead of a yes, just maybe

Instead of support, I feel alone

Instead of a coat, cold like stone

Instead of reward, I feel left

I hear a maybe from them, not a yes

But Psalm 4 tells me today

That when all around me men say

"Who can show us some good!?"

I believe God, You are good

I believe God, You are here

I believe Your words are near

I believe Your Spirit's here

I believe God, its clear

I don't need to phone a friend

I don't need to poll again

Final answer, I'm sure

Final answer, I'm Yours!

Final answer, It's fine

That You're right, and all are lying

That You're true, and else are false

Your weight does beat all

Overcomes highest pride

Overcomes, so will I
