We see you as such a pain

We question God

We mock his name

We lack trust and show disgust

Why would you

Discomfort us?!

We see you as ball and chain

You speak

We say

Here goes again!

If we ignore it

Maybe like wind you’ll blow away

Like prodigals

We’d much sooner run away

We see prayer as chains and fetters

You see it much, much better

To be with us God you would rather!

You see prayer as love letters..
