Are your faces pale? 
They should be!
An army marches in
Incoming!!

Before it a luscious garden
But behind them
A desert rushes in
God help me!!

I see an army of 
locusts
By the billions
Roaring!!

They may not hurt
our bodies
But our land 
they are scavenging!!

Between the place 
where the preachers preach
And the congregation's 
seats, may we kneel!!
O let all the ministers weep
For the LORD our God 
keeps his promises!!
Has it come to this??

Almighty Lord of heaven
Hear our voices cry out
Socorro!!
Socorro!!
Almighty Lord of heaven
We lay bare, our hearts rending
For your mercy!!

The land is 
darker than before
It's the day of
The LORD
He is coming!!

This has never
come to pass
'Neath the fire
what will last?
It's all consuming!!

So let the elders
And the scribes
The priests, let them arise
He is coming!!
Wake the nursing ones
and then don't let the 
wedding bells ring
Until we weep!!
Let us weep!!
